Quickstart

Set up your Creation Rights account and run your first workflow in under 5 minutes.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you'll need:

  • A Creation Rights account (sign up here if you don't have one)
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
  • An email address for your team invitations

Step 1: Create Your Workspace

After signing in, you'll land on the workspace setup screen. Give your workspace a name. This is how your team will identify the shared environment.

Workspace name: Acme Creative Studio

Choose a plan that fits your needs. You can always upgrade later. See Plans & Limits for a full comparison.

Step 2: Invite Your Team

Navigate to Settings → Team and invite collaborators by email. Each member can be assigned one of three roles:

RolePermissions
OwnerFull access, billing, and team management
EditorCreate and edit projects, assets, and workflows
ViewerRead-only access to projects and assets

Step 3: Create Your First Project

Click New Project from the dashboard. A project is a container for related assets, workflows, and talent records.

  1. Name your project (e.g., "Summer Campaign 2026")
  2. Add a description and optional tags
  3. Set visibility: Private (team only) or Shared (cross-workspace)

Step 4: Upload Assets

Drag and drop files into your project, or use the upload button. Supported formats include images, video, audio, PDFs, and design files.

Each asset automatically gets:

  • A unique provenance ID
  • Version history tracking
  • Metadata extraction (dimensions, format, colour profile)

Step 5: Run a Workflow

Workflows automate multi-step processes. Try the built-in Talent Clearance workflow:

  1. Go to Workflows → Templates
  2. Select Talent Clearance
  3. Attach the assets that need clearance
  4. Review the auto-generated clearance checklist
  5. Click Run to start the workflow

The workflow will assign tasks, send notifications, and track progress automatically. You can monitor status from the project dashboard.
